Goldtrail Travel Advice
19 July 2010
Goldtrail, a tour operator based in New Malden, has declared insolvency. If you are currently abroad or have a trip booked with Goldtrail (who traded under the brands Goldtrail Holidays, Goldtrail Travel, and Sunmar), please take note of the following:
All Travellers Booked With Goldtrail Are Financially Protected
Goldtrail Travel Ltd is a full member of ABTA (W6050) and ATOL (4684). Consequently, passengers who have booked a holiday with them are financially protected. These passengers are bonded under ATOL number 4684, and should contact the CAA on 0044 203 441 0846.
Customers who have booked accommodation, a packaged holiday or a flight with any ATOL-bonded company that has an ATOL number other than 4684 are advised to contact ABTA on 01243 621 500.
Those Currently On Holiday
Passengers currently overseas on flight inclusive holidays, due to return from Turkey and Greece over the weekend (including Monday 19th July 2010), will be sent home as scheduled. You should report to the airport as planned.
Those Due To Go On Holiday
Passengers who have booked a flight inclusive trip with Goldtrail should contact their travel agent immediately.
As soon as detailed information concerning flights from Tuesday 20th July 2010 is available, the CAA website will have it posted.
