Do I Need Any Vaccines For Russia?
Ensure your travels to Russia start and end on a good note by getting the recommended vaccinations prior to departure. We strongly recommend the following vaccinations for Russia:
- Hepatitis A - at least two weeks before travel
- Diphtheria - at least three months before travel
- Typhoid - at least 10 days before travel
As well as the vaccines listed above, we also recommend persons travelling to Russia on a frequent bases or an extended period of time get the following vaccinations:
- Cholera - at least two weeks before travel
- Hepatitis B - at least two months before travel
- Japanese B Encephalitis - at least one month before travel
- Meningococcal Meningitis - at least one week before travel
- Rabies - at least one month before travel
- Tick-borne Encephalitis - at least three months before travel
- Tuberculosis - at least three months before travel
In addition to this, we advise all travellers to ensure their Tetanus and Polio vaccinations are kept up to date.

Malaria: There is no risk of malaria in Russia, therefore no medication is required.
