Do I Need A Visa To Visit The Caribbean?

UK nationals with a valid British passport are eligible to travel to the Caribbean without a visa as long as they are travelling for business, pleasure or are in transit, and are intending to stay for no longer than 90 days. Visa-free travel does not include those who plan to study, work or remain in the Caribbean for more than 90 days.

If you'd like to stay for a period of longer than three months - or to study or work - you are advised to contact the High Commission of the particular Caribbean island you are visiting before you leave.

Please Note: A passport indicating that the bearer is a British Subject, British Dependent Territories Citizen, British Overseas Citizen, British National (Overseas) Citizen, or British Protected Person does not qualify for travel without a visa. On the same note, a passport which states the holder has Right of Abode or indefinite leave to remain in the UK does not qualify for visa-free travel.
