Do I Need A Visa To Visit Egypt?

UK nationals travelling to Sharm El Sheikh, Dahab, Nuweiba and Taba resorts do not require a visa prior to travelling to Egypt. An entry permission stamp will be granted upon arrival at any of the Egyptian ports of entry (free of charge), which is valid for a maximum of 14 days.

UK nationals intending to travel outside of the above-mentioned areas must obtain a visa and are advised to contact the Egyptian Consulate in the UK before applying for the visa, in order to confirm the required documentation.
