Do I Need A Visa To Visit New Zealand?
A British citizen does not require a visa to visit New Zealand, as long as the traveller holds a valid British passport. However, certain paperwork is required before you leave for New Zealand.
Whether travelling to New Zealand via air or port, all UK nationals must complete an immigration card upon arrival. This entitles UK nationals to entry into the country for up to six months.
British travellers wanting to extend their stay beyond six months must apply for a visitor's permit through the New Zealand High Commission prior to their departure. The cost of the visitor's permit is NZ$130 (equivalent to approximately £62).
