Thomas Cook Retail Limited is acting as agent for the various suppliers/principals whose products and services are offered via this Site. When you make a purchase via this Site, your contract will be with the relevant supplier/principal. Please read these terms and conditions carefully before using this Site. You must consent to these terms and conditions without qualification if you use this Site, and if you disagree with any part of these terms and conditions then you may not use this Site in anyway.

This Site is intended for use only by users who access it from the United Kingdom. The information and prices on this site only apply to users who make a booking from the United Kingdom. We are a company incorporated in England and Wales and our business and the services we offer are governed by English Law. We are not licensed to trade as a travel agent outside of the United Kingdom therefore we are unable to accept bookings from users who are not based in the United Kingdom. No warranties and/or representations of any kind, express or implied, are given as to the compliance of the information shown on this Site or the services we offer with any laws of any other country, and the laws of other countries will not apply to this Site or to the services we offer. We reserve the right to deny access to this Site at any time without notice.
Governing Law
Access to this Site is conditional on your agreement that all information contained in it and all matters that arise between you and us will be governed by English law. It is also conditional on your agreement that any dispute that arises between you and us will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of England and Wales.

Booking Conditions & Site Content/Information
All bookings made on this Site are subject to the relevant supplier's booking conditions in addition to these Site conditions. We recommend that you print a copy of the applicable booking conditions when making a booking. Booking conditions contain limitations and exclusions of liability, and cancellation and amendment charges are payable if a booking is cancelled or amended after it has been confirmed.
No warranties, promises or representations of any kind, express or implied, are given as to the accuracy of any of the information on this Site or as to the nature, standard, suitability or otherwise of any services offered by us or on our behalf. We shall not be liable for any loss or damage of whatever nature (direct, indirect, consequential or other) that may arise as a result, directly or indirectly, from the use of any of the information or material contained on this Site and/or the use of or access to any other information or material via web links from this Site, or any inability to access this Site. These exclusions of liability apply only to the extent permitted by law and, except for information or material accessed via other sites or supplied by an identified third party, where consistent with the applicable booking conditions. If any of these exclusions, in whole or in part, are found to be unlawful, void or unenforceable for any other reasons, that exclusion or part of the exclusion shall be deemed severable and shall not affect the validity or enforceability of the other exclusion(s) or part(s) of the exclusion(s) in question.
Thomas Cook may change any aspect of this Site or its content, including the availability of any suppliers, features, information, or other content, at any time without notice. The information and prices on this Site are not 'live' and are updated from time to time. All prices quoted for Travel Insurance products in pounds Sterling including IPT (Insurance Premium Tax). Every effort is made to ensure the accuracy of all information and prices but, regrettably, errors do occasionally occur. Where a price is obviously incorrect due to a system error, we shall not be bound by such price. The prices and any discounts shown on this Site are applicable to thomascookessentials.com only and may vary from the prices offered for the same travel services by Thomas Cook retail shops and Thomas Cook telephone direct businesses.
This Site is provided on an 'as is' and 'as available' basis. We do not accept any liability in respect of your inability to access or use this Site at any time or for any interruption in that access or use, or for any failure to complete any transaction. We do not warrant that this Site is free from computer viruses or other properties that may cause loss or damage.
Unless stated otherwise by the supplier of services in their booking conditions on our site, any bookings made through us are deemed to be made when validated on the website. Bookings made by telephone are deemed to be made only when confirmed by one of our Thomas Cook Essentials operators. Bookings made by post are deemed to be made once written confirmation has been sent by Thomas Cook Essentials.
Travel Insurance Policies
If you are not fully satisfied with your policy, you may cancel it within 14 days. Providing you have not travelled yet, and that no claim has been made, you will receive a full refund. Unfortunately, no refunds of part used bookings will be possible.
To ensure that our customers receive continuous cover, we operate an auto-renewal process with regards to annual multi-trip policies. With auto-renewal, your travel insurance policy will be automatically renewed at the end of your policy. This will save you the trouble of remembering to do it yourself. It is possible to cancel the auto-renewal of your policy by contacting us via either email, phone, or the post.
Airport Parking Cancellations
Cancellation, Amendments & Refunds: Bookings can be cancelled up to 24 hours before departure and will be subject to a £5.00 administration charge if no cancellation waiver was purchased, and a £0.50 charge if a waiver was paid.
Bookings cancelled on the day of travel or after will be charged at the full cost. Bookings cancelled less than 24 hours before departure will also be charged at full cost. No refund is available for unused part stays.
Car parks highlighted as Advance Purchase or Super Saver are purchased at a special advance purchase price. Bookings for these car parks cannot be amended or cancelled.
Data Protection
By making a booking with us, you agree we may use and disclose the information you provide for the following purposes: to enable us to process your booking (which will include passing your information to third party suppliers, such as airports, hotels, insurers, and may involve sending your information to countries that do not have an equal level of privacy legislation to that in the UK); for market research and analysis purposes; for improving customer service; for the detection and prevention of fraud or other crime (which may include providing your information to organisations such as Banks and credit card companies); for compliance with legal requirements (which will include passing your information to public authorities such as customs and immigration) and for marketing contact by means of post or telephone to provide you with offers, products and services from companies within the Thomas Cook group and carefully selected third parties. If you purchase travel insurance from us, we will need to pass your personal data (including sensitive personal data and personal/sensitive data relating to other members of your travelling party) to the insurance company.
Telephone calls to/from ourselves may be recorded for training and quality purposes and for preventing/detecting crime. If you have booked with us via our web site, or if you have chosen for us to contact you by e-mail, we will communicate with you using the e-mail address you have provided to supply you with your booking documentation. We are entitled to assume that the e-mail address you have provided is correct and that you understand and accept the risks associated with using this form of communication.

Credit Card Fraud Contingency
Please make sure that you have supplied us with the correct credit card billing information. If you do not supply the correct credit or debit card billing address and/or cardholder information, the issue of your tickets may be delayed and the overall cost may increase. We do reserve the right to cancel tickets after issue if payment is declined or if you have supplied incorrect credit card information.
In addition, we also reserve the right to do random checks (including the electoral roll) in order to minimise credit card fraud. As a result of this, before issuing tickets we may require you to provide us with a fax or postal copy of proof of address, as well as a copy of your credit card and a recent statement.

The copyright in the content of this Site belongs to us or to the licensors of such content. We reserve the copyright and all proprietary rights in this Site and all its content.
